Keyboard-and-mouse makes the intentional clunkiness feel unintentional, and that is not the kind of suffering anyone needs. Here is the honest truth about the solo experience: it gets stale. Cycling through deliveries alone, island after island, starts to feel like actual low-paid logistics work after a couple of hours. The game knows this too, scattering hidden challenges around the map to break up the routine, and the open sandbox encourages messing around with planes, helicopters, trolleys, and blimps rather than staying on task. But the single-player mode is really just a tutorial for what this game actually is: a four-player chaos engine. The moment a second person joins, the failure rate of every delivery doubles and the laughs triple. A recent major update even raised the player cap from four to five and added cross-platform online play, which gives the multiplayer side genuine longevity. The rough edges are real. Physics glitches will get your courier stuck on geometry, and the respawn button becomes a close friend. The world can feel a little sparse between delivery markers when you are actually trying to play it straight. Critics were split roughly down the middle for a reason, landing around a Metacritic 64. But the Steam community at 76 percent positive tells a different story, and that gap makes sense: critics reviewed it as a game, players played it as a party toy.
