I've organised enough Saturday night co-op sessions to know exactly what kind of game fills a room with screaming laughter within five minutes, and the Cyberfunk expansion for Totally Reliable Delivery Service lands squarely in that category. This is DLC built for people who already love the base game's wobbly ragdoll slapstick and want a fresh coat of neon paint on top of it. Cyberfunk drops a brand-new floating island into the mix, dressed up in glowing signs, synthwave architecture, and high-tech ramps that look gorgeous and play even more chaotically than the base game's zones. The expansion adds 15 new deliveries and a batch of new vehicles suited to vertical, aerial routes - which sounds exciting until your floppy-limbed courier ragdolls off a hover-platform for the fourth time in two minutes. The trickier aerial delivery routes are a genuine step up in difficulty from the base game, rewarding coordination between players in a way the earlier zones don't always demand. One person holds the cargo steady, someone else pilots. That's the plan. What actually happens is funnier. The core mechanic carries over intact: you can only hold one object per hand, packages explode if you rough them up too much, and falling into water is the only way to actually die. The physics engine is the joke and the gameplay loop simultaneously. Controls are deliberately clunky, which sounds like a criticism but is actually the whole point. This is a party game disguised as a delivery sim, and Cyberfunk's vertical level design leans into that harder than the base game dares. Up to four players can pile in via local split-screen or online co-op, and Steam's Remote Play Together means only one person needs to own it for a full squad - a genuine win for budget-conscious couch sessions. Where Cyberfunk earns honest praise: the visual identity is a clear upgrade over the base game's bland suburbia. The floating island destinations and funky soundtrack give the whole thing personality that the original sometimes lacks. Where it earns a mild shrug: if you bounced off the base game's jank solo, this DLC will not convert you. There is no campaign, no story, no progression arc beyond unlocking cosmetics. The laughs come from emergent chaos, not designed set-pieces. Solo players will run out of reasons to stay within an hour or two. For the "is it fun for four slightly chaotic friends" test - yes, emphatically. A gamepad is the right input device here; there is no case for a wheel or HOTAS, and the full controller support is solid. The split-screen implementation works, though four players on one monitor gets cramped fast. Sit closer or get a bigger TV.
