The friction most people hit in their first hour of the base game is visual, not mechanical: two thousand models slam together and the aftermath looks oddly tidy. This pack, which does nothing at all unless you own Total War: WARHAMMER, exists to fix exactly that, adding blood and gore effects to battles with an options-menu toggle so you can switch it off for streaming or a shared household. There is no faction, unit, map, or campaign content in it, and the store listing carries the precise effect breakdown. Push through that first hour without it, then pick it up only if close-up carnage is part of why you queue battles at all.
