Total War: MEDIEVAL II – Definitive Edition
The Kingdoms campaigns are the whole point of this bundle: four tighter, sharper wars bolted onto a grand campaign that still eats weekends.
GamerScout Verdict
Buy it if you don't already own Kingdoms; those four campaigns are the actual content, not padding.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Total War: MEDIEVAL II – Definitive Edition
The Kingdoms expansion is the reason this edition exists, and it is not shelf-filler. The Definitive Edition bundles the original grand campaign with Kingdoms' four standalone campaigns (Britannia, Teutonic, Crusades and Americas), each with its own map, factions and unit rosters. Those campaigns are tighter than the main game, with smaller maps and faster escalation instead of hours spent shuffling stacks across Europe. If you already own the original release plus Kingdoms, this adds nothing. For everyone else, this is the version to get, because the extras are playable content rather than a wallpaper pack and a soundtrack folder. Underneath, it is still a turn-based empire game stitched to real-time battles of thousands of troops, with gunpowder slowly rewriting how sieges play out and an interface that shows its age inside the first hour. The other quiet bonus is mod support, which is why people are still playing this at all. Come for the grand campaign, stay because Britannia will not let go.
