Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - Montagne Bushido Set (DLC)

If you main Montagne, you already know the drill: you are the slow, shield-faced wall that everyone on the attacking team hides behind while you soak bullets and gather intel. The Bushido Set does not change any of that. What it does is wrap the whole package in a Japanese warrior aesthetic that, honestly, suits the character's stoic personality better than most of the base skins in the game. The bundle includes three cosmetic items tied specifically to Montagne. The Fugaku skin reskins Le Roc, his extendable shield, which is the piece of kit you will be staring at for most of your playtime as him anyway. The Suji Kabuto headgear swaps out his standard look for something that reads clearly as a samurai-influenced helmet. The Fujisan charm rounds things out as a small decorative piece. None of this is gameplay-affecting in any way. Siege cosmetics carry no stat advantage, and that is worth repeating plainly so there are no surprises when you load in. Montagne himself remains one of Siege's more demanding operators to play well. He is a one-speed, three-health attacker whose entire identity is built around his Le Roc Shield. When fully extended, the shield offers near-total frontal protection, which makes him invaluable for pushing into tight corridors, covering a defuser plant, or just soaking pressure while teammates reposition. That utility comes at a cost: he is slow, he telegraphs his position constantly, and opponents who know what they are doing will try to flank him, use concussion grenades, or throw C4. Playing him badly feels like wearing a billboard. Playing him well feels like conducting traffic. The Bushido Set drops you into that playstyle looking noticeably different from the default, which matters more than it sounds in a game where opponents read operator silhouettes constantly. The thematic coherence is solid. Whether a samurai-inspired skin for a French GIGN operator makes lore-sense is the kind of argument Siege players stopped having around Year Two. The cosmetic pool has always leaned into themed sets, and this one holds up visually even years after its December 2016 release. The honest caveat: this is a narrow purchase. If you do not already play Montagne, or if you are the kind of player who cycles through the roster depending on the round, the Bushido Set sits completely dormant. It is operator-locked cosmetic content for a single attacker with a very specific, support-heavy playstyle. Go in knowing exactly what you are getting.
