Tokyo Tattoo Girls
A deck-building strategy game wrapped in anime aesthetics and tattoo mechanics that fails to find balance between its systems.
GamerScout Verdict
For patient fans of character-building sims willing to tolerate repetitive combat loops, everyone else should pass.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Tokyo Tattoo Girls
I went in expecting a tactical layer built around tattoo upgrades and companion progression. What I found was a game caught between two ideas that don't quite mesh. The core loop, assigning tattoos to boost stats and abilities, then grinding syndicate battles, works on paper, but encounters feel grindy without the decision density that makes auto-battlers satisfying. The mixed Steam reviews (52% positive) tell you most of what you need to know: some players stick with it and appreciate the character building, others bounce hard against repetitive encounters and opaque progression curves. If you're after a deep strategy game, this isn't it. The battles are mostly predetermined once you've equipped your gear. If you want a chill character-building sim with light combat, it works better, but even then the pacing drags. Niche appeal only.
