I spent several hours with Theme Park Simulator expecting something closer to Two Point Hospital's sandwich-stacking obsession, but this is fundamentally a multiplayer experience. With 1-4 player co-op, the draw is coordinating ride purchases, managing cleanliness, and balancing income across day-night cycles. Solo, it's functional but lacks the narrative tension or economic pressure that makes park sims stick with you. The multiplayer angle is genuinely its strongest card, splitting ride management and customer service between players creates real cooperation demands rather than just idle clicking alongside friends. Where it stumbles: no clear progression goals, shallow profit mechanics (the spreadsheet part of my brain found nothing to optimize), and minimal customization. The casual design philosophy works fine for couch co-op sessions but leaves single-player campaigns feeling thin. If you've got three friends and two hours to kill, this scratches that cooperative sim itch. Solo? Keep looking.
