GamerScout Verdict
For players seeking deeply weird indie horror that doesn't apologize for its premise. Not for mainstream taste.

About The Youthdrainers
I went in expecting B-movie camp and got something weirder: The Youthdrainers plays its dark premise entirely straight. You're a pregnant woman held captive by small humanoids who want to harvest your baby for experiments, and your goal is escape. The game mixes point-and-click adventure logic with horror atmosphere, leaning hard on the grotesque setup rather than jump scares. It's visually crude and narratively blunt, but there's an earnest weirdness to how unflinching it is about its subject matter. This is absolutely not for everyone. The controls are clunky, the story doesn't have the depth it probably thinks it does, and the 2016 indie production values show everywhere. But if you're the kind of player who respects a game that swings for the fences with a completely unmarketable concept and sticks the landing on tone, there's something here worth experiencing. It's short, forgettable as soon as you finish, and utterly harmless despite the provocative premise.
