I approached this expecting Gothic horror, but The Wanderer offers something quieter: a character study wrapped in point-and-click adventure. You inhabit the creature as he wanders through villages and encounters ordinary people, each interaction presenting dialogue choices that subtly shift their prejudices. The pixel art is warm and contemplative, the pacing unhurried. It's less about plot twists and more about the slow accumulation of human connection and misunderstanding. The trade-off is real.
