The save-anytime feature makes replaying branches far less painful than it sounds. The rough edge that stands out is the audience mismatch risk. Steam tags it heavily as a dating sim and visual novel, which is accurate but undersells the political strategy layer for players who might scroll past assuming it is a straightforward romance game. On the flip side, players expecting turn-based tactical depth will find none of it, there are no battles to command, no unit positioning, no resource bars. What this actually is: an interactive drama with branching choices, light relationship mechanics, and enough historical flavor to feel transportive even without gameplay systems underneath.
