Compare The Settlers - History Collection prices across trusted key stores and find the best deal. Available on PC.

Four classic Ubisoft city-builders bundled with modern OS support, but the interface quirks of the 90s and 2000s came along untouched.

This one is for people who already know why The Settlers mattered: the goods-chain obsessives who want to watch a woodcutter feed a sawmill feed a builder's hut without a modern tutorial holding their hand. If you're coming from Anno or Frostpunk expecting quality-of-life, walk away now. This collection is a preservation effort, not a remaster, and the older entries in particular play like the archived software they are. What still holds up is the core loop. Settlers economies are visibly physical: every plank is carried by a little guy down a road you drew, so a bottleneck is something you can literally watch instead of reading off a spreadsheet. Combat has always been the weak half, a matter of massing knights and clicking a tower, and nothing here fixes that. The tradeoff is honest. You get several full games that run on current Windows, at the cost of dated UI, uneven pathfinding, and mission design that assumes you'll replay a map after failing it. Nostalgia does a lot of the work, but the economic simulation earns its keep on its own. Alex, Scout Team

For Settlers veterans who want the old supply chains back on modern Windows, not for newcomers expecting a modern builder.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
