The Quest for Achievements
A 2019 indie action-RPG that quietly disappeared after launch, and for good reason. Mechanical jank and thin combat make this a hard pass even for achievement hunters.
GamerScout Verdict
Skip unless you specifically hunt rough early 2010s-style indie action-RPGs for nostalgia.

About The Quest for Achievements
I spent a couple hours with The Quest for Achievements expecting a tongue-in-cheek roguelike or at least something self-aware about grinding. Instead I got a janky action-RPG with stiff controls, repetitive combat loops, and zero personality to justify either the mechanical roughness or the casual-priced AAA tag. The achievement system that should anchor the whole concept doesn't do anything interesting, it's just UI busywork pasted onto generic kill-and-loot cycles. There's almost nothing here that works on its own terms. If you're hunting obscure indie RPGs with hearts of gold, this isn't it. Pass.
