I approached The Leviathan's Fantasy expecting clarity on what it actually wants to be. The genre tags span adventure, simulation, and strategy, which immediately signals feature bloat. Without Steam reviews or a visible description, there's almost nothing to anchor what kind of experience you're signing up for. The 2023 release date suggests it's had time to find an audience, but the fact that it's enriched here from Kinguin rather than Steam proper tells you it never broke through. The core problem: if a game doesn't generate enough chatter for Steam reviews or Metacritic coverage, it's usually because it didn't land. That doesn't mean it's broken, but it does mean you're buying blind. Unless you have a specific reason to trust Star Chess Studio or you're hunting obscure hybrids, this is a pass.
