The desert setting forces real constraints; you can't just plant everything. Tier sub-5 pricing suggests this is a lean project, and it shows in the UI and animation polish, but the core feedback loop of plant-harvest-improve actually works if you're the type who enjoys spreadsheet-adjacent decision-making without the Paradox complexity. What kills immersion is that there's almost zero narrative meat beyond "farm in a dead world." No character progression, no villagers, no reason to care about the specific farm beyond personal completion.
