The Humans Collection
A clunky 90s strategy-sim where you shepherd Cro-Magnons through tech trees and dinosaur encounters, hamstrung by dated controls and AI that doesn't cooperate.
GamerScout Verdict
Retro strategy museum piece with broken pathfinding; only for players who loved the original and tolerate aged mechanics.
Compare Prices(5 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About The Humans Collection
The Humans Collection is a tribe-management sim from the original PlayStation era, ported to PC with minimal modernization. You assign your cavemen to tasks, discover tech (fire, wheel, weapons), and fend off dinosaurs and rival clans. The core loop has potential: gathering, building, tech progression, resource management. Problem is, unit pathfinding is erratic, the UI feels like squinting at a 1992 monitor, and your Dino Dudes often ignore commands or get stuck on geometry. The 41% Steam score reflects this friction. It's a museum piece for fans of old Impressions Games or early Civilization spin-offs, but only if you enjoy working around clunky automation rather than enjoying it. Skip unless you're specifically hunting obscure 90s strategy nostalgia. The foundation is there, but the execution demands patience most modern players won't have.
