Tales of Graces F - Remastered

Graces asks for patience up front, and a lot of it. The opening childhood arc runs long, the dialogue is earnest to the point of saccharine, and the story beats about friendship are laid on with a trowel. Push through and you get the payoff: a combat system built around Chain Capacity instead of a standard MP bar, splitting your attacks into A-artes and B-artes that you juggle for infinite-feeling combos. Blocking at the right moment refills your CC and opens counter windows, so fights reward reading the enemy rather than mashing. The Title system is where the real depth sits. Every character levels dozens of titles that permanently unlock stats and artes, which turns party building into a long-term project instead of a level-up treadmill. The remaster smooths this out with faster movement, adjustable encounters and the previously Japan-only bonus content included. Environments are plain, sidequests are thin, and the voice acting is uneven. If you want story, look elsewhere. If you want a battle system you can still be learning forty hours in, this is one of the best in the series.
