GamerScout Verdict
Best for action-RPG fans who want combat depth and party chemistry, and can forgive a story that loses the plot after hour 25.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Tales of Arise + Beyond the Dawn - Bundle
The combat is the reason to play this. Arise's Boost Attack and Boost Strike system turns every encounter into a rhythm of staggering enemies, chaining artes and swapping between six party members mid-fight, and Alphen's Blazing Sword mechanic (trading HP for damage because he cannot feel pain) is one of the better character-as-mechanic ideas the series has had. Shionne's ranged support and Law's brawler pressure give you real reasons to rotate leads instead of mashing on one body. The first twenty hours, where you liberate one Dahnan region at a time from a Renan lord, are genuinely angry about occupation in a way JRPGs rarely commit to. Then it turns. The back half trades that grounded revolution for the standard cosmic-energy escalation, side content thins into fetch errands, and a few late bosses lean on damage sponges instead of new ideas. The Beyond the Dawn expansion picks up after the ending with a decent Nazamil arc, though it is more epilogue than second act. Worth it for the combat and the party banter, not for a clean landing.
