Syndrome drops you aboard a silent spacecraft with no memory and minimal answers. It's action-adventure framed through a horror lens, relying on atmosphere and tension rather than jump-scares to keep you on edge. The strengths lie in environmental storytelling and the pressure of being hunted in confined spaces. If you're drawn to games like Alien: Isolation or System Shock but want something leaner and less AAA-polished, this scratches that itch. The production values are modest, but the core loop of exploration and evasion works. It won't shock veterans of sci-fi horror, but it knows exactly what it's trying to do.
