Sylvio (PC) Steam Key GLOBAL
A ghost-hunting audio puzzler where you scrub tape reels for whispers. Clunky to control, hypnotic once it clicks, and unlike anything else on Steam.
GamerScout Verdict
For patient horror players who want a genuinely novel audio mechanic and will forgive rough edges to get it.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Sylvio (PC) Steam Key GLOBAL
The first hour of Sylvio is genuinely awkward, and pretending otherwise does you no favors. You wander a drab park as ghost recorder Juliette Waters, hauling a reel-to-reel rig and a microphone, and the movement feels stiff, the shooting-tennis-balls-at-scenery mechanic feels absurd, and nothing tells you what you are supposed to do with any of it. Push through. What clicks around hour two is that Sylvio is a listening game. You record ambient audio, then scrub, reverse, and slow the tape hunting for EVP fragments buried in the hiss, and those voices become your actual puzzle solutions. It is a mechanic nobody else has built a whole game around. What you get for the patience is a curse story about a rotten family cult, told almost entirely through degraded audio, with a soundscape that does more atmospheric work than most horror games manage with jump scares. What you do not get is polish. The visuals are rough even for 2015, the interface fights you, and the ending lands quieter than the buildup earns. Mostly Positive at 79% feels about right: this is a small, strange, handmade thing for people who will happily sit with a tape loop at 3am.
