About Supreme League of Patriots - Episode 2: Patriot Frames
The first hour throws a wall at you: a puzzle chain that only clicks if you stop thinking like a detective and start thinking like a guy writing a bit. I bounced off an early sequence for twenty minutes before realizing the solution was a joke setup, not a logic step. Whether you push through depends entirely on your tolerance for that. Episode 2 picks up mid-story, so the framing assumes you already know Kyle and his reluctant sidekick, and it does very little to catch you up. What holds it together is the comic-book presentation and the voice work, which commits hard even when the writing gives it thin material. The dialogue is dense and the jokes hit maybe half the time, which in a comedy adventure is a rough ratio. It knows to end before wearing out its welcome, and there is genuine hand-craft in the panel art and character animation. But it is a middle chapter, priced and paced as one, and its comedy-first puzzle design will read as broken to anyone raised on classic adventure logic. Go in for the voices, not the puzzles.
