Worth a shot if you crave straightforward retro platforming, but don't expect it to reinvent the wheel.

About Super Jagua
I've seen enough retro platformers to spot when one actually understands what made the originals tick. Super Jagua gets the fundamentals right: responsive jump physics, deliberate enemy placement, and level design that rewards exploration. The swimming sections and boss fights add enough variety to keep things from feeling repetitive across its short runtime. Secret rooms and achievements give completionists something to chase beyond a straightforward run to the credits. The catch is scope. This is a lean experience with no pretense to depth or innovation, which is fine if you're hungry for uncomplicated platforming. It doesn't swing for anything ambitious, though, so unless you're specifically hunting for a short, clean 80s-style run without modern accessibility flourishes or narrative, it's easy to skip in a crowded field.
