This is straight Japanese riichi against a CPU opponent, and the rules are intact: riichi declarations, dora indicators, yaku scoring, the whole ladder from a cheap tanyao up to something worth defending against. The AI is competent rather than clever. It folds late, pushes into obvious tenpai, and rarely reads your discards the way a decent human would, so once you internalise safe-tile discipline you will win more than you lose. That is the honest ceiling here. No campaign structure, no rule variants, no online play, no replay analysis to review a bad push. It is a single-player loop with achievements and cloud saves, and the reward layer is the undressing gimmick rather than progression that teaches you anything. If you already play riichi seriously, the tile engine is fine and the opponent is not. If you are new, the game will not tutor you, so bring outside knowledge or bounce off it in twenty minutes.
