Steelrising Discus Chain
A melee weapon DLC for Spiders' Souls-like that trades the whip for a spinning chain, solid if you're already invested in Steelrising, forgettable if you're not.
GamerScout Verdict
A solid NG+ distraction for existing Steelrising fans; skip if you haven't finished the base game.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Steelrising Discus Chain
I approach Steelrising DLC with tempered expectations, and the Discus Chain delivers exactly what it promises: a new moveset, not a reason to replay. The weapon trades the whip's range for close-quarters spinning attacks and crowd-clear potential. If you liked Steelrising's stamina-based combat and build crafting, this chain variant works fine as a secondary or NG+ option. The animation loops are smooth enough, and the scaling options integrate without friction. Here's the catch: it's a skin pack with combat strings attached, and those strings aren't long enough to justify a separate purchase unless you've already sunk 40+ hours into the base game. There's no new quest, no lore, no reason to care about why a clockwork automaton suddenly wants a chain instead of a blade. It exists to fill a niche, and it does that competently. If you're hunting for more Steelrising content, grab it on sale during a replay. If you're deciding whether to buy the base game, skip the DLC until you're past endgame.
