Starship Troopers: Terran Command strips away the typical RTS busywork and forces you to think about unit placement, sight lines, and firepower angles. You're managing squads of Mobile Infantry against Arachnid swarms, and every bug type demands a different tactical response. The game doesn't reward twitchy micro or economy snowballing; it rewards good positioning and composition decisions made before the fight starts. The core loop is solid for what it is: you scout, you probe weaknesses in the Arachnid line, you rotate units to exploit angles of fire, and you push methodically. Tutorial is straightforward. AI is competent enough not to cheat outright, though it's not going to surprise you with cunning. This is a niche title with a modest scope, no campaign that'll blow your mind, but if you're tired of clicking frantically and want a slower, positioning-based RTS, it delivers exactly that promise.
