Stars in Shadow is a turn-based space 4X that wears its Master of Orion 2 inspiration openly, built by a two-person studio with a hand-drawn comic book art style. The base game covers the full loop: colonize star systems, manage farms, mines, and factories on each world, research four eras of technology, design custom ships, and resolve fleet battles on a tactical grid where you can actually take manual control instead of auto-resolving.
