About Starlord
Starlord positions itself as a galaxy-scale 4X competitor, but it's really a resource-management idle game with combat window dressing. You build fleets, manage colonies, and wage wars against 999 AI opponents in real-time or turn-based modes. The premise is solid: planetary control feeds into dynasty mechanics, so multi-generational play has teeth. Problem is the AI rarely makes intelligent moves, the tech tree lacks meaningful branches, and most of your time is spent waiting for timers or watching numbers increment. If you're the type who genuinely enjoys optimizing production chains and don't mind sparse UI polish, there's a skeletal 4X experience here. Otherwise, Paradox's back catalog or even older Sid Meier games will give you far better decision-making depth and AI opposition for the same time investment. Diego, Scout Team
