About Star Wars Outlaws Deluxe Edition
Outlaws asks for patience long before it hands you any swagger, and I count that as a feature: long approach routes into guarded compounds, a reputation system where warming to one syndicate chills another, and a restart every time a patrol clocks you. Solid underworld fantasy underneath all that scouting. The Deluxe tier is where I slow down, because this listing never spells out what you actually get on top of the standard version. What is visible is packaging rather than content: a single-player campaign, HDR, captions, full DualShock and DualSense support, and in-app purchases sitting right there in the feature list. None of that is a mission, a companion arc, or a new system. Deluxe tiers on games built like this usually run on cosmetic skins and early-unlock gear, which means you skip a few hours of scrounging in a game whose entire texture is scrounging. If you know the exact pack you want and you want it at launch, fine, go ahead. If you came for the heist beats and the faction fallout, the standard edition costs you nothing in story or build depth. Ask what is in the box before you commit to it.
