About Squid Hero for Kinect
Squid Hero for Kinect is a motion-control puzzle game built entirely around Xbox Kinect's gesture recognition. You physically move your arms and body to steer a squid avatar through simple environmental obstacles and collectibles. It's the kind of game designed for living-room novelty rather than depth: fun for a few sessions with kids or casual players who want something different from a controller, but the gesture detection can be finicky and the actual puzzles don't evolve much beyond "move left, move right, jump." If you own a Kinect and have small children or want to turn gaming into a full-body activity, it's harmless enough. Everyone else should know this is niche motion-control fodder that hasn't aged particularly well. The squid theme is cute, but it doesn't compensate for limited gameplay variety or the frustration of imprecise motion tracking.
