SPIRITUS 2

I went in expecting standard post-apocalyptic fare, but SPIRITUS 2 knows exactly what it is: a throwback to when survival horror meant resource scarcity, fixed camera angles, and that specific brand of dread that came from not seeing what's around the corner. The HD facelift on those classic tropes actually works, the contrast between polished visuals and deliberately clunky pacing creates genuine unease. It's short, focused, and doesn't overstay its welcome. That directness is both its strength and its limit. There's no bloat here, no padding between setpieces. If you grew up on Resident Evil or Silent Hill and crave that specific tension without modern handholding, this scratches the itch. Console controller support and straightforward mechanics mean it plays exactly as intended. Just know you're getting a compact, intentional experience, not a sprawling horror epic.
