Space Tower Defense

I've played enough tower defense to know when a game is just reskinning the formula versus actually challenging it. Space Tower Defense leans into the latter: enemies detect and probe your perimeter, warn each other of threats, and actively seek bypass routes. This forces you to think like you're managing a defensive line, not just placing towers on a predetermined path. The map variety and tower combinations suggest some strategic depth worth exploring, though with zero early player feedback, I can't yet vouch for endgame balance or whether the AI holds up under pressure. For strategy players tired of passive tower defense, this is a worthwhile experiment. The sci-fi setting and emphasis on reactive defense mechanics promise something fresher than the indie tower-defense glut. Just go in knowing it's a small, untested release without community feedback to guide your approach.
