About Space Quest 4+5+6
I went into Space Quest 4, 5, and 6 expecting the usual Sierra adventure game experience: gorgeous pre-rendered backdrops, a protagonist you care about (Roger Wilco, hapless space janitor), and puzzles that range from logical to completely arbitrary. The first two games in this bundle deliver exactly that. You're clicking through parody-heavy sci-fi scenarios, solving inventory puzzles, and watching pixel art characters react to your mistakes with genuine humor. The writing is the real draw here if you like '90s-era comedy that doesn't worry about landing every joke. That said, these are old adventure games. Expect to save-scum. Expect to walk through every screen multiple times to spot the one pixel you need to interact with. Expect dead-end puzzles where you miss a crucial item and can't progress. If you're nostalgic for the Sierra formula or curious about what point-and-click adventure fans were playing before adventure games became rare, this bundle works. If you need hand-holding or modern puzzle design, steer clear.
