SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! - Underpants Gnome Cosmetics Pack
Three cosmetic items for a base game that already divided its audience. Dress your New Kid as an Underpants Gnome, but know exactly what you're buying into first.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth it only for Snow Day completionists who want the Gnome look; adds nothing to a game already struggling to justify its base purchase.

About SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! - Underpants Gnome Cosmetics Pack
My first thought when I saw this pack listed as a standalone purchase was straightforward: this is a three-piece cosmetic set that was originally handed out as a pre-order bonus, and it has since become paid DLC sitting outside the Season Pass. That context matters before you click anything. The pack itself dresses your customizable New Kid in the full Underpants Gnome outfit pulled straight from the classic Season 2 episode "Gnomes": the pointy hat, a beard, and a green tunic. That is the complete contents. No gameplay items, no cards, no weapon variations. If you have a strong affection for the Underpants Gnomes as a South Park gag, the reference lands cleanly. If you are hoping for anything mechanical, look elsewhere. The Season Pass is where the actual gameplay content lives, with new weapons like the Snowball ranged option and the Hammer melee weapon, plus the Board Girls game-altering mode with rules like The Floor is Lava and Air Superiority. This pack contributes nothing to that side of the game. To size up the value properly you need to know where Snow Day itself stands. The base game shifted the franchise away from the beloved turn-based RPG format of Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole into a third-person brawler with roguelite mechanics. The reception landed squarely in mixed territory, with around 50% positive Steam reviews reflecting genuine disagreement. Fans pointed to repetitive combat across five roughly hour-long levels, AI bots that struggle when you play solo, and a tamer comedic tone compared to its predecessors. The voice acting and South Park character cameos drew some goodwill, but the core button-mashing loop wore thin for a lot of players fairly quickly. So where does a hat, a beard, and a tunic fit into all of this? If you already own Snow Day and you genuinely want to cosplay as one of South Park's most meme-able minor factions inside the game's character creator, the pack does exactly what it says. The Underpants Gnomes are a recognizable piece of South Park mythology, and the cosmetic translation is faithful. But this is a very narrow use case. If you skipped the pre-order and are now browsing DLC trying to figure out whether to invest more into Snow Day, the honest answer is that the game's rough critical and player reception should probably come before any cosmetic spending decision. Short version: this is purely for the completionist South Park fan who is already playing Snow Day, already comfortable with its limitations, and specifically wants the Gnome look on their New Kid. Everyone else can safely ignore it.
