About Small Town Terrors: Galdor's Bluff Collector's Edition
I spent a couple hours investigating the feud between two rival magicians in this point-and-click adventure, and the core appeal is straightforward: find objects, solve inventory puzzles, unlock new areas. The hidden-object sequences are competent and not overly padded, which is rare in the casual adventure space. The story about deception and illusion has charm, even if the writing doesn't break new ground. The rough edges show immediately though. The interface feels dated, menus aren't intuitive, and there's no quality-of-life polish you'd expect even from indie titles released a year before this. If you're hunting for a low-stress puzzle game and don't mind hunting for the seventeenth teacup, it delivers. Just don't expect it to wow you.
