GamerScout Verdict
A rough-around-the-edges shooter that trades polish for personality and cultural specificity.

About SlavicPunk: Oldtimer
I went in expecting rough edges and got something more interesting: a third-person shooter with a specific cultural flavor that most big studios would sand down to nothing. SlavicPunk: Oldtimer leans into its Slavic setting not as window dressing but as the core of who you are and why you're fighting. The gunplay is serviceable, the story doesn't pull punches, and the whole thing feels like it knows exactly what it is - a lean, determined game that respects your time instead of padding it with busy work. It's not a AAA experience and doesn't pretend to be. If you're after high-fidelity animations and ten-hour cutscenes, look elsewhere. But if you want a shooter with character, a narrative that takes risks, and a setting you won't find anywhere else in the genre, this scratches an itch the big studios keep ignoring.
