See Light

See Light is a small indie action title that clearly wants to mean something. The violence has weight to it, the atmosphere presses in, and there's a deliberate pacing to how it unfolds. Controller support is solid, and the game knows the power of silence and sparse art direction. These are the bones of something special. The problem is execution. The combat, while intentional, doesn't quite sing in the way the mood demands. Some encounters feel like they're testing patience more than skill, and the pacing occasionally collapses under its own mystery.
