A relic worth rescuing if you crave jetpack-driven multiplayer destruction over polish and story.

About Section 8
Section 8 threw me into a sci-fi warzone where jetpack mobility and destructible environments actually mattered. You're a soldier with a personal insertion pod, armor upgrades, and the ability to leap around maps that respond to your chaos. The multiplayer modes (Conquest, Swarm) reward creative loadout building and vertical play in ways most modern shooters have forgotten. Weapon variety is solid, and the kinetic feedback of combat feels snappy. But here's the catch: the campaign is a threadbare grind that exists mainly to unlock loadout slots. AI teammates are zombified, mission design is repetitive, and the story evaporates before it gets interesting. If you're buying this, you're doing it for the multiplayer sandbox and the pure joy of jetting around while buildings crumble. If that sounds good to you, Section 8 still holds up. If you need narrative or modern matchmaking, skip it.
