About Sea of Thieves 2024 Premium Edition
Everything in Sea of Thieves runs through the ship itself, and that one design choice decides whether you love it or bounce off. Sails, anchor, wheel, cannons, and the bilge pump all need hands, so a sloop with two players is a constant conversation and a galleon with strangers is either a heist movie or a farce. Nothing in this Premium Edition changes that. What you're buying is the base game plus the cosmetic and currency layer that sits on top: ship liveries, outfit and weapon sets, and premium currency for the in-game cosmetic store, all of it appearance-only in a game where appearance is genuinely half the point. That matters more than it sounds, because looking like a proper crew is a real motivator here. Still, none of it makes you sail better or unlock content faster. If you're testing the waters, take the standard edition, sail a few voyages, and decide whether the crew-coordination loop clicks before spending anything on hats. If you already know you're in for the long haul with a regular crew, the bundled currency and sets save you a grind you'd otherwise pay for piecemeal.
