Room 54

Room 54 drops you into a survival horror setup with real teeth: you're exploring a seemingly quiet mountain town alongside Daniel, hunting for clues about what happened to his wife Desirée, all while something else is hunting you. The game leans hard into investigation and exploration rather than combat, which means your best tool is stealth. If you get caught in a cat-and-mouse situation with whatever's stalking you, you're running, hiding, and praying it doesn't find your current refuge. The problem is that Room 54 feels undersupported. With no Steam reviews to speak of and no critical coverage, you're flying blind on how well it actually executes its hide-and-seek core or whether the investigation payoff justifies the tension. Controller support is there, and achievements suggest some replayability, but this is a game that barely registered on anyone's radar when it released. Worth a shot if you're specifically hungry for first-person horror that prioritizes stealth over jump scares, but manage expectations.
