About Ridge
I went in knowing almost nothing about Ridge, and that turned out to be the honest way to experience it. This is a small adventure game from 2016 that lives in the gaps between walking simulator and logic puzzle. It's short, deliberately cryptic, and built around exploration and figuring out what the hell you're supposed to do next without handholding. If you like games that trust you to read the room and piece together mechanics from trial and error, Ridge respects that kind of player. The flip side: there's no safety net. No tutorials, no hints, and documentation is sparse because it's a tiny indie title from a decade ago. That works if the puzzle logic is airtight and fair, but sometimes it feels like you're guessing rather than solving. It's a niche play, best suited for adventure fans who thrive on mystery and don't mind getting stuck, restarting, or checking a forum to unstick themselves.
