On the mechanical side, the loop asks you to explore, loot whatever you strip from opponents, and engage in combat that borrows positional logic from chess. If the puzzle design actually commits to that chess DNA rather than using it as a surface label, there's a satisfying tactical layer here for players who like to think two moves ahead before committing to a fight. The loot system adds an RPG progression texture on top, which means gear decisions and build choices should matter as the city reveals itself. Whether that progression holds depth past the early hours is the real question for a game with no substantial review record to draw on yet. That means the quality of writing, whether choices carry weight, and how well the puzzle design integrates with the RPG systems are all unknowns.
