Red Comrades 3: Return of Alaska. Reloaded
A point-and-click adventure that leans hard into absurdist humor and retro sensibilities, if you can stomach pixel-art slapstick and Cold War-era spy parody.
GamerScout Verdict
For adventure fans who prize quirky humor over puzzle elegance, but patience required for dated mechanics.

About Red Comrades 3: Return of Alaska. Reloaded
Red Comrades 3 is a point-and-click adventure that doesn't take itself seriously for a second. You're guiding Pete and Vasily through Las Vegas and military scenarios, solving puzzles by clicking on every object in sight and watching cutscenes full of anti-humor gags and 90s gaming callbacks. The writing is intentionally ridiculous, and if that flavor of irreverent comedy lands for you, there's a decent chunk of playtime here. The problem: puzzle logic can feel arbitrary, and the humor relies entirely on whether you vibe with its particular brand of nonsense. The pixel art is charming in a retro way, but the interface feels clunky even by adventure-game standards. It's not broken, just dated. If you loved the original series or have a soft spot for deliberately goofy adventure games that don't care about narrative coherence, this reloaded version is worth a shot. Everyone else should probably look elsewhere.
