I tested this expecting bloat, but Realtime Screen OCR Translator is refreshingly minimal: select a box on your screen, pick your target language, and watch it translate whatever text appears there in real time. No login walls, no subscription nag, no bloat. It works well for games with untranslated UI, anime with hardcoded subs, or any on-screen text you need decoded fast. The OCR accuracy depends on font size and clarity, crisp digital text reads perfectly, but tiny pixelated fonts will stumble. Performance is snappy, and there's no lag on my machine. The downside is the simplicity cuts both ways. It's not a translation tool for documents or batch jobs, and it won't catch contextual nuance the way a human translator would. If you're just looking for a quick "what does this button say?" lifeline while gaming or browsing, this does exactly that. Don't expect miracles with handwriting or blurry screenshots.
