About Realms [VR]
Realms asks for a full lobby before it gives you anything. This is a party game first, a VR game second, and it only clicks when you've got friends on voice chat willing to be idiots together. The pitch is simple: up to eight players racing, fighting, and outright stealing from one another, in VR or flat, over online or LAN. That LAN support is worth flagging, because it's rare in indie multiplayer now and it means a room full of headsets can actually play together without routing through a server. What works is the mischief. Stealing from other racers turns clean lap times into slapstick, and the mix of tracked-controller flailing against pad players makes for genuinely funny mismatches. What doesn't: it's a small indie release from Madman Games with a thin player base, so matchmaking with strangers is a gamble, and the leaderboards imply a competitive depth the moment-to-moment chaos doesn't really support. Bring your own crowd or don't bother.
