Psycho Train

The first hour is where most people will bounce off this one. Hotspots on the train carriages are small and fussy, the cursor does not always tell you when something is interactive, and the opening stretch of hunting for clues in dim corridors feels more like pixel-scrubbing than detective work. Push past it. Once the abandoned station opens up, Veles Studio starts trusting its own atmosphere: the sound design goes sparse and hollow, the puzzle chains get genuinely tangled, and the search for your daughter picks up a dread that the setup does not promise. It is a small, modest adventure and it knows it. The story is thin, the voice work is not the draw, and anyone expecting deep character work in an Alawar casual release will leave disappointed. What it does have is a good sense of place and the discipline to end before the premise wears out. If you like sitting with a moody, unhurried hidden-object mystery on a quiet evening, this is worth the few hours. If you want puzzles that respect your time from minute one, look elsewhere.
