I'll be honest: Project Mikhail is a tough sell. This 2021 action-RPG from âge mixes real-time combat, turn-based strategy elements, and simulation systems in ways that feel ambitious but rarely cohesive. The game wants you to manage resources, plan tactical encounters, and execute combat in real-time, which sounds interesting on paper. In practice, the systems feel under-explained and the UI doesn't do much to guide you through what's happening. It's the kind of game that might click for players who enjoy deep mechanical weirdness and don't mind figuring things out through trial and error. If you're after something polished or forgiving, this isn't it. The lack of Steam presence and Metacritic coverage suggests a very small, dedicated following, which tells you something about how niche this really is.
