Professional Fishing: Starter Kit Pro

Fishing Planet built its whole loop around scarcity: the right rod, the right line, the right lure for one specific pond, unlocked slowly. Professional Fishing takes the same simulation shell (rod tuning, cast timing, line tension management, a fish that fights back) and then this Starter Kit Pro bundle hands you the equipment shelf up front. That is the difference that matters. The core casting model holds up, the multiplayer and co-op sessions are pleasant, and the moment-to-moment tension of playing a fish on light line is genuinely readable. But strip out the acquisition ladder and you are left with a fairly thin decision space: pick spot, pick lure, repeat. What saves it is the price of entry (free base game) and a small but real PvP scene. The tutorial is functional rather than generous, and the sample size on reviews is tiny, so treat the positive rating as a shrug rather than a verdict. If you want a sim that rewards spreadsheet thinking about gear tables, look elsewhere. If you want a low-friction fishing session with friends and no unlock grind, this bundle does exactly what it says.
