About Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Complete Edition
The combat is the best thing here, and it holds up under everything the package throws at it. Parrying is a real skill check, the air-dash and time-rewind powers turn platforming into a rhythm exercise, and the Amulet loadout system lets you rebuild Sargon around whatever you're bad at. That base game already sits at Very Positive with a strong critical reception, so the question isn't quality, it's what the Complete Edition actually adds. What you get on top of the standard version is the Mask of Darkness story DLC and the Divine Trials challenge content, plus the cosmetic outfits and the usual soundtrack-and-art padding. The Trials are the real draw: pure, hostile platforming rooms for people who finished the main map and wanted the game to stop being polite. Mask of Darkness is a proper chunk of new area rather than a skin pack. If you've never touched the game, buy this one and skip the upgrade math. If you already own the base game and bounced off the traversal, none of this will change your mind, because the DLC assumes you loved the hard parts.
