Police Hot Pursuit
A budget-priced indie racing-adventure hybrid that promises cop chases but delivers janky driving mechanics and repetitive mission design.
GamerScout Verdict
Pass unless you want a bare-bones racing game and accept rough edges as part of the indie bargain.

About Police Hot Pursuit
I went in expecting a budget take on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, and Police Hot Pursuit... technically has that premise. You either chase criminals or flee from cops across a handful of tracks, with upgradeable vehicles and a campaign structure holding it together. The racing sim elements are loose at best, with physics that feel floaty and collision detection that works against you more than with you. Missions repeat the same three patterns until fatigue sets in, and the presentation looks like it belongs on mobile rather than PC. There's a kernel of something here - the core loop of upgrading cars and hunting down suspects has potential - but the execution stumbles at every turn. Load times drag, AI is predictable, and the whole package feels unfinished rather than intentionally scaled-down. If you're desperate for a budget racing fix and have low expectations, you might squeeze an hour out of it. Everyone else should pass.
