What this one wants from you is stillness. There are no systems to master, no failure states, nothing to optimize. You click, you read, and you give it about four or five hours of undivided attention, which in 2026 is a bigger ask than any boss fight. Give it that, and Studio Elan's story about Miho, a foxgirl who fled her old life and washed up in a quiet town, pays it back with two routes that go to genuinely different emotional places. Released in 2022, it's built for reading comfort: adjustable text size, mouse-only or touch-only input, save anywhere, full subtitle and volume options. What works is the tone. It's warm without being weightless, and the humor lands often enough that the sad parts hit harder when they arrive. What doesn't: if you want branching complexity or meaningful choice, there isn't much here beyond picking a heroine, and the pacing sags in the middle stretch before either route commits.
