A lean turn-based naval tactics game where fleet budgeting matters more than broadsides. Rough around the edges, sharp where it counts.

The ship-buying math is the best part of this game, and that is meant as a compliment. Every gold piece you pull off a defeated pirate is a fork in the road: a second hull now, a better crew for the hull you already have, or a captain who trains that crew into something that actually survives round three. Combat itself is clean turn-based positioning, and it rewards you for thinking about who fires first rather than who has the bigger numbers. Circuit Hive kept the scope small and the loop tight, and the RPG layer (crew progression, captain specializations) gives runs a shape that pure tactics games often miss. Where it disappoints is presentation and variety. The encounters start repeating sooner than you want, the interface asks you to remember things it could just show you, and there is no multiplayer to stretch the systems further. This is a single-player, achievements-and-trading-cards indie from 2018, not a genre landmark, and it plays like one. But if you want a compact strategy game you can finish over a couple of evenings without a wiki open, the fleet management holds up. Alex, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

Worth it for turn-based tactics fans who want a short, budget-juggling naval campaign and can forgive repetitive encounters.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
